🚀 March Break STEAM Robotics Camp

< For children ages 5–12 > 

Get ready for an exciting week of learning, creativity, and hands-on fun! During camp, children will:

🤖 Build and program robots using engaging engineering concepts
🎉 Collaborate with peers through team challenges and problem-solving tasks
🎨 Enjoy creative activities, movement breaks, and structured play
🧠 Develop confidence, independence, and critical thinking skills

This is a full-day robotics-focused camp with built-in breaks and activities to keep children energized, engaged, and happy throughout the day.


📅 Camp Details

  • Dates: Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 20, 2026

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Fee: $350 + HST (5 days)

  • Extended Care:

    • 8:30–9:00 AM & 4:00–4:30 PM

    • $45 + HST per week or $10 + HST per day

  • Location: RoboThink Niagara Education Centre
    ( 210 Martindale Road, St. Catharines)


🕘 A Typical Day at RoboThink March Break Camp

(Sample schedule – activities and timing may vary slightly based on the group dynamics and engagement)


8:30–9:00 – Before Care
Reading, puzzles, and STEM games

9:00–9:20 – Arrival & Warm-Up
Icebreakers, movement activities, and team-building fun

9:20–10:00 – STEM & Robotics Exploration Time
Through interactive activities and demonstrations, children explore new STEM concepts and get ready to build

10:00–10:25 – Nutrition Break

10:25–12:00 – Robotics Build & Engineering Challenges
Hands-on robot building, testing ideas, and solving fun engineering challenges

12:00–1:00 – Lunch & Break
Lunch followed by relaxed activities such as reading, STEM games, and social time with friends

1:00–1:30 – Creative or Movement Break
Art and craft, STEM activities, or guided movement

1:30–2:30 – Robotics Build & Engineering Challenges
Second build session of the day, applying new ideas and improving designs

2:30–2:45 – Nutrition Break

2:45–3:30 – Robotics & STEAM Challenge
Open-ended robotics and STEAM challenges where children can work independently or with others to test, refine, and improve their creations

3:30–4:00 – Wind-Down & Pick-Up
Games, reading, and reflection on the day’s activities

4:00–4:30 – After Care


Important Notes for Parents

·       Toilet Independence:
For the safety and comfort of all participants, children attending this camp must be fully toilet trained and able to manage restroom use independently. RoboThink staff are not able to provide one-on-one personal care or bathroom assistance.

·       Age Grouping:
Camp activities are designed for mixed-age groups. Instruction and challenges are adapted to support different learning levels and paces within the group.

·       Food & Allergies:
Children are asked to bring their own nut-free lunch and snacks. Please inform us of any allergies or medical considerations during registration.

·       What to Bring:
A packed lunch, two snacks, and a refillable water bottle. During rainy or snowy weather, children should bring clean indoor shoes to wear inside the centre.

·       Behaviour & Participation:
Our camp is designed for children who can participate in group activities, follow basic safety instructions, and engage respectfully with peers and instructors.

  • Full refund if cancellation is at least 1 week before the program start date

  • 50% refund if cancellation is within 48 hours before the program start

  • No refunds within 48 hours of the program start

  • All refunds and transfers are subject to a 10% administration fee per participant

  • 100% refund will be issued if the program is cancelled by RoboThink Niagara
